Remembrance Day for Fallen Israeli Soldiers and Victims of Terror and the Opening of Independence Day: Celebrating 70 Years of the Reborn State of Israel
  • Yom HaZikaron ceremony at “Machal Memorial”: As the siren sounds and the nation stands and falls silent, we will stand alongside the former soldiers of 1948 that came from overseas to protect the nascent State of Israel. We will join them for a unique moment as – 70 years on - they pay tribute to their comrades who fell fighting in the War of Independence.
  • ‘Jerusalem Corridor’ tour + Kiryat Anavim Cemetery (Netzer Acharon): Travel along the historic Tel Aviv-Jerusalem road – a key strategic point in the 1947-1948 battles for Jerusalem – tour the battle sites, and pay respect to those who fell fighting on a visit to an IDF military cemetery.
