Dr. Michael Oren is an American-born Israeli historian, author, politician, former Ambassador to the United States (2009–2013), current member of the Knesset (Kulanu party), and Deputy Minister in the Prime Minister's Office. Oren has written books, articles, and essays on Middle Eastern history, including the New York Times best-selling Power, Faith and Fantasy and Six Days of War: June 1967 and the Making of the Modern Middle East.
Miri Eisin served in the IDF for over twenty years, holding senior positions in the intelligence corps. After retiring from the military, Miri was appointed as the Israeli Prime Minister’s International Advisor and played an important role in the Annapolis Conference. Currently, Miri is one of Israel's main presenters that sheds light on regional geopolitics, security related issues in the global media, and the different narratives within the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
Col. (Res.) Grisha Yakubovich is the former Head of the Civilian Department in the IDF’s Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories unit. Col. Yakubovich led strategic dialogue with the international community, Israeli government system and Palestinian Authority on economics, infrastructure and foreign affairs. He is an expert on Israeli policy in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, bringing an unparalleled insider’s perspective from a range of roles in the field and from the highest levels of decision-making in Israel.
Smoky Simon served as a navigator-bombardier in the South African Air Force for four years. Before the outbreak of the War of Independence, Simon moved to Israel to head the fledgling Israeli Air Force’s Department of Air Operations. Today he serves as the chairman of (Overseas Volunteers in the IDF) World Machal Organization.
Josh Halickman is the head of the Maccabi Tel-Aviv Football Club Foundation, where he works to make an impact on the larger Israeli society by using the positive energy of football to effect the lives of the Israeli community. In his spare time he blogs as “the Sports Rabbi”, writing about Israeli sports and athletes plying their trade in Israel and around the world.
Kay Wilson is a British-born Israeli tour guide, jazz musician and cartoonist. She is the survivor of a brutal terror attack that occurred while she was guiding in December 2010. Since the attack, she is in a demand as a motivational speaker and also speaks to audiences on issues of human rights and justice for victims of terrorism.
Yahya Mahamed is a 19-year Old Arab-Israeli from Umm Al-Fahm in Northern Israel, who was motivated at a young age to learn more about the Jewish people and Israel and to push out of the intellectual boundaries he felt surrounded him. Yahya is dedicated to educating others in the Arab world about the true face of Israeli society and promoting peace, tolerance and coexistence.
Charlotte Korchak is the Director of International Student Programs at StandWithUs Israel. In her current role, Charlotte works with over 6,000 students a year from nearly every continent educating them about Israel and training them to be effective activists in their high schools, universities, and communities worldwide. She has quickly become one of the foremost public speakers in her field.
Michael Dickson is Executive Director of the StandWithUs Israel office. Michael is a Senior Fellow at the Center for International Communication. He regularly addresses audiences, writes and broadcasts on issues pertaining to Israel and public diplomacy. In 2016, he was named as the 14th most influential Jew on Twitter by JTA and also one of the “30 Israelis Making a Difference” by Channel 10 TV’s “Hazinur” at a ceremony at the President of Israel’s Residence.
Yoni Zierler is a dynamic and experienced Israeli tour guide, who loves connecting others to the beauty and history of the land. Yoni is Director of Strategic Tourism at StandWithUs.
